DAMN YOU NETFLIX!

I apologize for the salty title of today's blog, but I'm cheesed at Netflix.

Recently, I was watching Academy Award winning, The Departed. I'm not sure why, but I enjoy a good gangster type movie. (Godfather 1 & 2 best movies ever.)

Well, I'm fully entrenched in the film when the DVD sticks on one scene. I was thoroughly enjoying the complex plot of undercover rats vs. rats undercover. Then while Costello is mocking Queenan and Dignam about a botched raid,

BAM! The DVD freezes.

I examine the disk for smudges only to find some minor scratches. All I can do is skip to the next chapter on the DVD.

Whatever happened in that scene must have been critical because the rest of the movie was all fragmented, to me.

Whatever happened in that scene must have been the reason it won Best Picture, because while I enjoyed the movie, I liked Night at the Museum better.

LMAO at the salty title. I haven't seen the Departed. I usually never understand why the movies that win these awards, win them anyway. Night at the Museum was pretty darn good though.

Why is this Netflix fault? Maybe you scratched it.

maybe the previous user forgot to rewind the DVD?

I am shocked that you didn't blame this on George W. Bush.

ROFLAMO @ Bill
Anon is falling flat.Bush prefers to ruining things on a much higher scale. It's far more likely he locked away watching Scooby Doo trying to solve that mystery than Mark's copy of the Departed.

All valid points.

Anony, If it'll give you something to do than yes, I blame Bush. He scratched the DVD and sent it back.
Happy?
Now go ahead and have your GOP hissy fit. Get it out of your system.

Since your salty blog says it was posted at 1:23AM, are you sure you weren't just having a nightmare about 'W' while your movie was playing perfectly fine? Or maybe you were actually departed for a brief period of time........

My what clever retorts from all the fools here. I guess I can understand why all of you losers spend your free time watching lame movies at home.
