Birthday Wishes and Dreams Come True

I don't know what happened to me.

June 5th, 1975, I was a 9 year old kid playing with Johnny West cowboy "action figures".  I was happy as could be.  I went to bed excited because the next day was my 10th birthday.

June 6th, 2015.  I woke up and somehow 40 years had gone by.  I was in a different bed and a different house.  My Dad, my brother, all my Grandparents and most of my aunts and uncles were no longer living.

I have a wife and an 11 year old son a pet dog.

But, how did this happen?

The only explanation I can think of is I must have made a wish on my 10th birthday.  I must have wished for a happy life.  A life full of great friends and family.  A life where those who got sick didn't suffer and would go to heaven.  A life that I could look back on when I turn 50 and say,

"Thank you God for making my life feel like a dream come true."

To all that read this thank you for making my life.

Nice blog Mark. I've known you for less than half your life years but I have to say." Anyone who knows you can attest to the fact that you are always kind and friendly and smiling most of the time" As for me I feel that you have given , (to all that know you)
a reason to not feel sorry for ones self. You are fun to be around and have a sense of humor that puts everyone at ease. I have never heard you complain about how hard things are for you. The only thing you complain about is the cold, and I can relate to that. I feel that I have learned from you that a good frame of mind will keep you happier than anything else. I'm glad that I have had the privilege to spend time with you and enjoy your company. You always have some good jokes and ideas and just good conversation to share with the rest of us. I'm happy to call you my friend and I wish for you only good things and warm weather. Keep your sense of humor and know that all those around you will come away with a true sense of what a positive attitude and a genuine smile and love of life will do for you if you keep the faith and trust in God. God Bless you my friend you are a good friend and a good person and you deserve the best.
Hugs,

Mr. Stedt,

I now know why you are a great golf coach. I actually turned 50 yesterday, but I'll write 40 on my score card.
