What Am I Missing?

I usually don't like to beat dead horses, but I'm still confused why some think Obama was gifted the White House.

I came across the below video and I was amazed that Palin still thinks the media railroaded her.
Watch the video.

The person interviewing her obviously has a crush on her. Read this article he wrote about the interview here.

Palin is a nice person. I like her, I really do. I just don't believe she was world leader material.
Only Republicans believed she was world leader material. Those are the same Republicans who created the mess we are in now (I know, I know the Democrats helped too).

The conservatives of this country better come to grips with the fact that Obama was elected overwhelmingly, I repeat overwhelmingly, because he was the most qualified person to move this country forward. Tina Fey was imitating a person. Katie Couric was interviewing a person.
A person not qualified to be Vice President of the U.S. as decided by a majority of her peers.

End of story.

It's over.

Let it go.

Bye Bye.

She's still whining?

I've let it go. My point of the blog was about how extreme others are going to discredit the election.

I agree with Scott. She's even more annoying now that she's still complaining about the election, the media, SNL, bloggers, newspapers etc etc etc. She needs to go away and the sooner the better.

I am republican and I have let it go there is nothing we can do to change the election and power and blessings to the new leader and I hope he can lead us into a bright future.
I do however believe that part of the "overwhelming" vote was due to ethnicity and not qualification.

I am over the whole election thing as our world seems to be crumbling there are more important things to focus on right now.

I don't follow sports so I don't tend to worship people for trivial accomplishments. It confuses and scares me how so many have worshiped the president elect. They didn't worship Mother Teresa but they worship him or some movie star. I wish him luck and hope he is up to the job. Now we should do our part as citizen of America and be honestly critical of his performance. Rome and Germany worshiped once upon a time. We must not ever be blinded by stardom or by media games.

As another republican and first time poster here I find it incredibly reassuring that you have finally admitted the "mess we're in" is a bipartisan issue. That shows you actually have the ability to look at the issues from a different perspective.

Although, I personally blame the democrats entirely for the housing mess. Here's why (the rhetoric here isn't as important as the facts stated in the report):

The history revisionists of the right are on the loose..and all anonymous. Let's clean up some of the lies you've left behind:

False..the overwhelming vote was not based on ethnicity. People of all races and backgrounds voted for change and that change agent is Obama.

False...no one is worshipping President Elect Obama, the one you dare not name. You confuse star worship with admiration and pride of intelligence. But it's fine to kneel at the altar of Ronnie the Reagan. Oops, your stupidity is showing.

False..Democrats are not to blame for the housing mess..or the banking deregulation...or the $10.6 trillion deficit...or lying us into an unnecessary war, or promoting outsourcing of American jobs, etc.

Democrats are guilty of allowing you GOPer's to steer the Titanic into the iceberg. It's time to take back the wheel from the village idiots.

Aahhh, another steriotypical emotional rant from a Democrat. Why don't you try stating some facts. Mar, simply stating that it isn't so only makes other Democrats believe you. It's like sticking your head in the sand and hoping it goes away. No matter what side of the fence anyone sits on, with a little education and reading, and maybe (heaven forbid) stringing a couple of facts together (yes fact NOT opinion), will lead back to the simple fact that Clinton got the housing mess started. It doesn't even matter why he did it\pushed the policies. For the future, what matters is that those policies are typcal democratic policies.

For all the rest of your ranting, who cares? I hope Americans believe Obama is the savior and can guide us out of the economic mess we're in. If they do collectively, after his innaguration maybe a higher consumer confidence level will occur (i.e. good for the economy).

It's truly amazing to me how short sighted people are and how quickly they forget history. It's even more amazing to me how people can't even distiguish fact from opinion or even comprehend a linear set of events and draw conclusions from it. Mar, maybe you should open up the study cited and re-read it.
